Lightning Protection System Testing

Lightning protection, conductor systems should be visually inspected and tested at regular intervals in accordance with the recommendations of the British Standard 6651-1999. The visual inspection is to check the mechanical condition of all the conductors, reporting on any defects, noting any new additional items of plant / metal that require Bonding or any structural changes to the building.
The earthing system is tested to record the earth resistance and ensure the readings are within the British Standard recommendations.
